Well, I just got back from the Nissan Pavillion show, and Scott's voice sounded great-I listened really hard during "Higher" for any signs of "ack-acking" but he nailed it. I'm not sure how many consecutive shows they've done in a row up to this one, but I would say it was definitely on par with the VA Beach concert. Scott's wardrobe, however, was a different story...during "Who's Got My Back Now," he split his pants! There was a big rip in the back near the pocket, it was pretty funny...fortunately for him he was wearing underwear. He had to play the rest of the show with them ripped...and since WGMBN is pretty early in the set, it was a while. For the encore he put on a jacket that covered it up. Too bad, because they were really nice black suede and they looked really good on him.
As funny as that was, it wasn't as amusing as when some girl behind me flung her bra and panties to Brett...he caught them kind of like a reflex and then looked really bewildered. Scott and Mark didn't notice, as they were on the other side of the stage, but Flip did, and laughed at it with Brett.
Let's see, what else... we were recorded during Don't Stop Dancing, there's going to be a live version on the single (Comes out 10/1) and I guess they're doing a bunch of different places to see which one sounds the best. Personally I didn't think we sounded that great so they'll probably pick another city. I still didn't get to catch a guitar pick, but Mark grabbed my hand as he left, just like Brett did in VA Beach, so that was pretty cool.
They also had a guest rapper come out during one song-I want to say Freedom Fighter, I could be wrong (damn, I have such a terrible memory for this stuff), I think he was someone local but it was really good, anyone know who it was?
